Site Accessibility

Accessibility Statement

TTRSA is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. The main content on this website is designed to comply with the Irish National Disability Authority IT Accessibility Guidelines which are aligned to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 1.0. We are also striving for compliance with the W3C WCAG 2.0, although full WCAG 2.0 compliance is only likely to be achieved when our content management Joomla meets requirements.

If you should experience any difficulty in accessing the website, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Site Coding

This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant XHTML/CSS code means it will also display correctly in any future browsers.

This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. All font sizes are relative and therefore compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers. All pages on this site use structured mark-up. H1 tags are used for main titles, H2 tags for subtitles. All images used in this site include descriptive ALT or LONGDESC tag.

PDF Documents

We aim to make all of the website content available as accessible PDF documents. Links to PDF documents will always be displayed in a new window.
